IAOP Bursary Application Deadline- 31 January 2021

​The BSOMP will make available a number of bursaries for Dental Core Trainees and specialist trainees to attend and present either a poster or a paper at the IAOP meeting in London 2020.

 

 

Applicants MUST be a member of the BSOMP and be based within the UK or the Republic of Ireland.

 

Bursaries for residents of other countries to attend the IAOP conference are available through the IAOP.  Please do not apply if you do not fulfil the above criteria as your application will not be considered.

 

British and Irish applicants are not eligible for IAOP bursaries as the conditions exclude applicants from the country where the conference is to be held.

The following conditions apply:

1. Applicants must be members of the BSOMP and be based in the UK or the Republic of Ireland.

2. The application must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant’s supervisor/head of department confirming how much financial support is available for the applicant to attend the meeting. Applications which do not have a supporting letter will not be considered. 

3. It is expected that applicants will try and obtain funding from elsewhere

4. The applicant must attend and present either a paper or poster at the meeting. The applicant’s abstract must be submitted with the bursary application.

5. Applications for a bursary must be received by 31st January 2020 with successful applicants being notified in February 2020

6. If successful, applicants will receive their bursary following the IAOP2020 meeting

 

The number of bursaries available will depend on the number of applications but preference will be given to applicants who have no other means of support.
